Farscape is a science-fiction television series about an American astronaut who finds himself in an alien battlefield. The series, which was produced by the Jim Henson Company and aired on the Sci-Fi Channel (USA), was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award, won three Saturn Awards, including Outstanding SciFi Series; and continues to be a cult favorite.

The Creature Shop was responsible for the conceptual designs of Farscape, including two of the show's main characters, which were animatronic and prosthetic aliens. Other main characters were enhanced with prosthetics made by the Creature Shop, and JHCS designed and created all of the aliens throughout the four seasons of the series, as well as the television mini-series.
