Jim Henson's Creature Shop created a hybrid of animatronics and computer graphics puppet to bring the magical sand fairy, "It," to life. Resembling a combination of an animal and an alien, the green "It" was given the ability to interact with its human counterparts in the film with the use of HDPS.
